Tonight the Kansas City Chiefs host the Washington Commanders on Monday Night Football. The game is scheduled to kickoff at 8:15 p.m. EDT.
The Commanders come into this game with a 3-4 record, good for third place in the NFC East. They have lost three of their last four games. It has been a rough start to the year for the Commanders, as their defense has been regularly torched and star quarterback Jayden Daniels has had trouble staying healthy. Daniels has already missed two games this year and he will
miss his third game tonight due to a hamstring injury. Marcus Mariota will start in Daniels’ place. Mariota puts the Commanders at a huge disadvantage at the quarterback position against the Patrick Mahomes-led Chiefs.
The Chiefs come into this game with a 4-3 record, good for third place in the AFC West. The Chiefs got off to a slow start this season, losing their first two games. Since then the Chiefs have come roaring back, winning four of their last five games and averaging 31.5 points on offense in their last four games. The return of Mahomes’ favorite target Rashee Rice after a prolonged absence spanning two seasons has the Chiefs’ offense humming. With an offense that is putting points up in droves and has the least turnovers in the NFL to date, the Chiefs are looking like a Super Bowl contender once again.
It’s the Chiefs and the Commanders tonight on Monday Night Football. Enjoy the game everyone.
