The Portland Trail Blazers will head into their First Round NBA Playoff series against the San Antonio Spurs with only Damian Lillard on their injury report, the team announced.
Outside of the as-expected Lillard, there’s nobody else out. Nobody doubtful. Nobody questionable. Nobody probable. For a team that has battled through waves of injuries up and down the roster since before training camp even began in September, the nearly unblemished report almost doesn’t look right. But the Blazers are indeed
the healthiest they’ve been all season, just in time for the postseason.
Here’s the full (beautifully short) injury report for Game 1 in San Antonio on Sunday.
INJURY REPORT 4/19 @ SAS GAME 1:
OUT
Damian Lillard (L Achilles Tendon)
Blazers forward Jerami Grant returned to the lineup for Portland’s thrilling 114-110 win over the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Play-In on Tuesday, marking his first appearance after missing seven games due to a right calf strain. Prior to that, Blazers guard Shaedon Sharpe returned to the lineup for Portland’s 116-97 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on April 10, marking his first action after missing 28 games due to a left fibula stress reaction.
The Blazers are scheduled to tip off against the Spurs in San Antonio on Sunday at 6 p.m. PDT.
