This weekend is going to be a long but fun one for me. First thing’s first, I’m sorry to all of the Corn Nation readers that I will not be around to hang out with the rest of the gang on Friday night. I will be on my way to Kansas City to partake in the Premier League Fan Fest at the Power and Light District.
Nothing like getting into KC around 10:00 Friday night, only to wake up at 4 a.m. on Saturday to get there when the gates open at 5. Liverpool plays at 6:30 in the Merseyside Derby. Shortly after
that, I’ll be making my way back to Lincoln, hopefully getting back to town by around kickoff for the Michigan game.
Throw in the fact that I have my fantasy hockey draft Sunday night, as well as trying to keep my undefeated fantasy football record, there will be no rest for the weary. This is the time we live for, when it’s time to go all out for those we root for, and those who play for the badges to play hard for us. I’ll love every second of it, even if my eyelids will only be half open. Here are your flakes…
