What is the story about?
The Guardians are just a rough watch night in and night out. Messick and Holderman were great tonight, as they have been all season, and then Gaddis and Aleman decide to implode. The offense did put some runs on the board in the last couple innings once the game was already over so I guess that is one positive takeaway from this game. It just feels like this team is missing something. They aren’t the worst Guardians team in recent memory, but they may be the most boring.
The Guardians will try to
avoid the sweep tomorrow. It will be Merrill Kelly vs Gavin Williams at 1:40 pm ET.
