Las Vegas Raiders fans don’t want Lamar Jackson trade

The NFL rumor mill has connected the Las Vegas Raiders to a trade for veteran quarterback Lamar Jackson in a deal that would include the No.1 overall pick.

While it’s just at the rumor stage, the reports

have caught our attention. And we can tell you, many Las Vegas fans are not interested in such a trade. We asked our community members if they are in favor of such a deal. The results were resounding as more than 85 percent of our poll takers were not in favor of the Raiders making that deal.

It seems Raiders fans want to roll with Indiana’s Fernando Mendoza rather than Jackson, who is 29 and has been injury prone. Jackson, of course, is elite when healthy and he ahs won two NFL MVPs.

Still, Raiders fans aren’t buying it. It will be interesting to see if these rumors turn into anything more as the offseason progresses.

I would love to see Lamar Jackson in Silver and Black, but why would we trade the #1 pick away to get him? Are they going to invest heavy into the Oline to protect him if we get him or are we just going to let him get pummeled all season? Why not get a franchise QB instead? Nothing about this makes sense. Clickbait perhaps? I guess I bit. If we can somehow get him AND a franchise QB, I’d be all for that.

The Nation asked for Mendoza, so give them Mendoza. And give Mendoza an Oline. And give Mendoza and the Oline a head coach. And give the head coach a proper offensive coordinator and Oline coach. And give Maxx Crosby some Dline help.

It can’t be this hard. Or is it?

I don’t believe the Raiders have the OL to protect Lamar Jackson. Keep the pick and draft a QB and build around him.

Im afraid they might try this to appease Crosby. I love him he’s a Raider god. But he got his wish with A.P. And how did that work out? I want to win as much maybe more than Crosby. But we need Mendoza not Lamar!!
