Fresh off a visit to Ohio State four-star Baton Rouge, Louisiana RB Jayden Miles has committed to Florida State; this was noted as a distinct possibility last week and the good news came to fruition yesterday.

picking up steam following the second weekend of summer official visits after four-star LB Jernard Albright flipped from South Carolina on Sunday.
Football:
First up in the schedule preview series is New Mexico State which should present FSU with an opportunity to win back to back season openers. It was supposed to be Notre Dame; luckily for the unexpected nature of what 2026 FSU will be that’s no longer the case:
Needing to fill in a game for the canceled home-and-home with Notre Dame, FSU scheduled NMSU, looking for an early boost to the season before jumping right into conference play the next week. While it is hard to feel confident about anything under Norvell, taking care of business against New Mexico State should be as simple as it gets in 2026.

Not directly related to FSU but this pretty much affects anyone who is a college football fan; The Brendan Sorsby decision is the wrong decision.
