Another day, another dollar, or as Syracuse Orange fans know it best, another game, another nooner.
Syracuse’s game versus No. 12 Georgia Tech will officially kick off at 12 p.m. EST on Saturday, October 25th. It will be aired on either ESPN or ESPN2, the ACC announced Monday.
It will be Syracuse’s third game of the 2025 season that will appear on an ABC or ESPN national network, with the others being Tennessee and Clemson. It’s also the Orange’s fifth confirmed game that will be on a major network this
year. Syracuse will also play North Carolina on ESPN and Notre Dame on NBC. On the unofficial #Nooner tracker, it’s the fifth one for the Orange.
Georgia Tech enters this week as one of the leading contenders in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets’ current AP poll ranking, which is No. 12, is the highest its been for the program in over a decade (2014). Georgia Tech is currently undefeated at 6-0 overall and 3-0 versus the ACC, tied for first place in conference record and in sole possession of first based on overall record.
Georgia Tech will first place Duke this weekend, who also sits at 3-0 in the ACC. Like Wake Forest recently did a few weeks back, Syracuse could (potentially) give the Yellow Jackets a scare in Atlanta. As for the Orange, this is the first of three remaining ranked opponents the team has left on its schedule. For some ‘Cuse fans, they may see this as the one with the most “upset” potential.
Last year, Syracuse also faced then-No. 23 Georgia Tech in a nooner, and came away with a 31-28 win at home. In three tries, the Orange have never beat the Yellow Jackets away from the 315.
Before Georgia Tech, Syracuse must first take on the Pittsburgh Panthers in the JMA Wireless Dome this Saturday. That game will start at 7:30 p.m. EST and can be seen on the ACC Network.
