Three Keys
1) Know where Myles Garrett is literally every second the offense is on the field – At this point, the Vikings’ offensive line is being held together by chicken wire and scotch tape. The Browns’ defensive front is among the best in the league, and Myles Garrett is on the short list of the league’s best defensive players. The Vikings have to do everything in their power to not let him take over this game, or it’s going to be a long morning/afternoon.
2) Fluster the new guy – For some reason, the Browns have chosen to give rookie Dillon Gabriel the start in this one, making him the first quarterback ever to make his first start in an overseas game. Brian Flores has a reputation for putting rookie quarterbacks through hell, and he’s going to need to put together a game plan to make that happen today. The Browns do have some talent at the skill positions, but they can’t allow Gabriel to get comfortable.
3) Win on special teams – In a game like this one that’s expected to be a low-scoring slog, there’s always the potential for a pivotal moment, and special teams presents opportunities for those. One mistake on special teams could make the difference in this one, and the Vikings need to make sure that they’re not the one making that mistake.

There you have it, folks! We’ll be starting a brand new Open Thread at the beginning of each quarter, so keep your eyes open for those and keep the discussion moving along accordingly.
Here’s hoping that in about three hours or so we can all get together back here and talk about our team is going into their bye week on a positive note and how nice it will be to (hopefully) get everyone healthy here in a couple of weeks.
SKOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL VIKINGS!!!!
