The Cleveland Browns opened as 8.5-point underdogs against the Baltimore Ravens ahead of their Week 11 match-up, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. The over/under on the game is 41.5.
The Browns (2-7) are coming off of a 27-20 loss to the New York Jets, a game that everyone had penciled in as a win for Cleveland. “How could they possibly lose that game?” Well, the Browns found a way to defy the odds, as they lost in a manner that no NFL team ever has when you factor in how few yards they allowed combined
with having no turnovers. Two special teams touchdowns allowed in the first quarter took what could have been a comfortable, coasting victory into a tight game that the Browns failed to deliver on in the clutch late. The Browns have also decided to continue sticking with Dillon Gabriel over Shedeur Sanders at quarterback.
The Ravens (4-5) have won three straight games, with their latest victory being a 27-19 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Lamar Jackson has been back for their last two outings, and now they find themselves just one game back of the AFC North lead after a 1-5 start. As crazy as it may seem, though, Cleveland still climb back in the AFC North race, although they’ve already squandered one of their ‘easy’ wins. The oddsmakers are heavily favoring the Ravens, though, despite Cleveland playing at home. The Ravens won 41-17 in Baltimore earlier this year, but while Cleveland is 0-5 on the road, they are 2-2 at home.
