What is the story about?
How are we all feeling today, friends? Feeling like a good day in Chicago as the Cubs have secured their place in the postseason, and now, after three do-or-die games, the next round of postseason play has been set. The Cubs and Dodgers both move forward for the AL, and the Tigers and Yankees have moved forward in the AL. The Division series will begin for all teams on Saturday, so it’s bound to be an exciting weekend as we see how the next round will shake out.
Speaking of shaking out and shaking up,
we have more managerial changes in the news, as well as some early speculation on who might step into those open roles.

- Ben Clemens wonders aloud why the Tigers would pinch-hit for Riley Greene in game 2 of their Wild Card series.
- Tim Capurso looks at the key rule changes of the 2025 postseason.
- It ended up just being a three-game winner-take-all, but this is still wild.
And tomorrow will be a better day than today, Buster. Make it so.
