The Indianapolis Colts today released their Thursday injury report for Week 12 of the NFL season against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
Quarterback Daniel Jones was limited at practice today with a calf injury. Jones was not in the injury report yesterday, so it would appear as if he injured his calf during practice. Jones being limited casts speculation on his availability for Sundays game against the Kansas City Chiefs but tomorrow will be a huge indicator. If Jones cannot play then it would likely be rookie Riley Leonard starting Sunday, which is less than ideal.
Linebacker Jaylon Carlies (ankle) has logged back to back full practices this week in his return to practice from injured reserve. Carlies is looking very likely to be activated this week for a return to game day on Sunday.
Cornerback Charvarius Ward (concussion) was a full participant today at practice. Ward is trending in the right direction to be available Sunday and be activated from injured reserve. A cornerback duo of Ward and Gardner is one of the best in the league.
Defensive ends Samson Ebukam (knee) and Tyquan Lewis (groin) were both limited at practice today. Ebukam had been limited both times this week and looks to be working back to becoming available soon. Lewis managed a limited practice Thursday after being unable to practice yesterday. Friday’s practice will be big for both of them in determining their availability.
