James Franklin and Penn State football have not put out a depth chart since spring 2020 — so, we’ve decided to make our own version. This year, we will release an updated post with the depth chart each week, reflecting what we see on the field and during practice sessions.
The depth chart remains largely unchanged from the Villanova game, so Penn State will be going into Oregon basically at full strength.
We’ve switched Amare Campbell into the starting mic spot over Dom DeLuca, but with Jim Knowles’
4-2-5 defense, it’s splitting hairs. Campbell wears the green dot, so he should probably earn the “official” Mike starting spot.
King Mack also took the second starting safety spot away from Antoine Belgrave-Shorter in the Villanova game. Belgrave-Shorter played just 16 snaps to Mack’s 26 in the contest.
