The Tennessee Titans had one of their best weeks in recent memory. Cam Ward looked great against a really good defense. The game was fun to watch, but they ultimately lost 30-24 to the Seattle Seahawks. The loss dropped them to 1-10 and allowed them to remain in the top spot in the 2026 NFL Draft order. They will have a chance to get a player that can really help them anywhere in the top 5, but they need to hang on to the top spot to maximize their value in a trade.
What didn’t go well for the Titans
in week 11 was the results from the rest of the team at the top of the draft. There are still four teams with just two wins. If the Titans end up in that mix, they will fall to the back of the line because of their strength of schedule. In other words, had they won the game against the Seahawks, they would currently hold the fifth pick in the draft. Again, they would still get a really good player, but it would be hard to net a huge return trading out of that spot.
We know trade value is really all about someone desperately needing/wanting a quarterback in the draft. There isn’t a surefire quarterback in this draft, but there will be a guy who emerges throughout the process that a team falls in love with. With Ward looking better and better with each passing week, the Titans will find themselves in the best position possible if they do end up with the number one pick.
