Pat McAfee returned to WWE as a heel last week on SmackDown when he punted Cody Rhodes in the dick and revealed himself to be Randy Orton’s mystery caller. McAfee’s addition to the main event angle of WrestleMania 42 was reportedly a call made by TKO CEO Ari Emanuel, who apparently thinks McAfee is the next Sylvester Stallone. Please give me a few moments while I try to contain my laughter.
McAfee’s angle is that WWE business sucks with Cody Rhodes on top and 5’5” guys doing iron man matches. Randy
Orton is the only one who can save the business and restore the greatness of the Attitude Era, or something like that. Needless to say, most pro wrestling fans seem to agree that this new storyline for the WrestleMania 42 main event is really dumb and sucks balls.
Pat will return to SmackDown tomorrow night (Apr. 10) in San Jose to continue the angle, and hopefully there will be a creative idea in place to salvage this mess. With that in mind, MAGAfee McAfee just announced on social media that he will reveal a MASSIVE SURPRISE during the show.
“Randy Orton is gonna save the business for future generations of wrestling fans. That’s so incredible to think about.. Very rarely do these types of obviously monumental moments happen in our lifetime.
