The San Antonio Spurs announced plans to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Night on Sunday, Nov. 16 as the Spurs host the Sacramento Kings tipping off at 3 p.m. The night pays homage
to Hispanic Heritage Month’s official 2025 theme, “Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future,” and will feature an exclusive tote bag ticket package and more elements honoring and celebrating Hispanic culture.
Activations include:
- Exclusive Tote Bag Spurs Ticket Package: New this year, fans can purchase a one of a kind loteria card inspired Spurs tote bag, with limited quantity remaining.
- Pregame “Carne Asada” Experience: Fans are invited to join the Pregame Carne Asada cookout beginning at 1 p.m. in the ULTRA Club, featuring a live band, mariachi performances, and vendor market showcasing local Hispanic-owned businesses.
- Leaders and Legacies: Spurs Give will honor four local trailblazers at half-time through their Leaders and Legacies award series, presented by Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages. The honorees —Sonya Medina Williams, Eddie Vega, Ernesto Nieto, and Amparo H. Ortiz (In Memoriam) and their families will receive a special tribute, spotlighting the recipient’s contributions to social justice, equality and civil rights in the San Antonio community. Additionally, each honoree has selected a nonprofit organization to receive a $10,000 grant in their honor.
