One of the most exciting fighters competing on today’s (Sat., July 25, 2026) UFC Abu Dhabi card LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE, has been removed from action after a last-second trip to the hospital.
Per UFC officials, welterweight prospect Islam Dulatov has been forced to withdraw from his main card matchup with Wellington Turman. Dulatov was admitted to the hospital late Friday night after battling an infection. His removal from UFC Abu Dhabi was a collaborative decision
between UFC and Dulatov’s team.
See below:
Dulatov, 27, was one of the lone bright spots this weekend on a card screaming for star power. Casual fight fans may still be behind the eight ball on Dulatov, but the talented finisher was hoping to put the rest of the combat world on notice with a sensational performance against Turman. After all, Dulatov has finished his last 12 trips to the cage, including a successful first-round knockout in his Octagon debut one year ago.
UFC Abu Dhabi will now proceed with 12 total bouts. The card is as follows:
