The Meat – 1 Unit Picks
The meat represents the main plays I feel more confident in, they are the meaty
picks of the weekend.
- Mizzou -3.5
- I don’t think A&M is strong enough up front to stop the Tiger rushing attack; I expect Caden Lee and Donovan Olugbode to have a good day against the Aggies’ man defense as well.
- Florida St +3.5
- FSU looks like they found their identity in their game vs Bama, I expect them to win the line of scrimmage and control the game.
- Iowa St +10.5
- BYUs offense will be limited without their best player in LJ Martin and I just don’t envision them winning by more than 10 tonight.
The Rice – .5 Unit Picks
Just like Boudin, the rice is the filling that keeps the weekend slate interesting. These are picks I want to love, but have slightly less confidence in.
- Bama vs UGA Over 51.5
- I can easily see either team winning this game, but I think the final score is close and in the 30’s for each team.
- South Carolina +12.5
- South Carolina burned me last time I took them to cover (vs Bama), I hope they do not get their doors blown off again.
- James Madison -7.5
- JMU is 5-0 against the spread and I think they are the overall better team against a struggling Georgia Southern.
- UNT -28.5
- Does Charlotte have a pulse, I hope not.
- Oklahoma +7.5
- This could look like a complete disaster after 5 minutes of gameplay, but this is OU’s Super Bowl and I don’t think Texas offense will have the firepower to get a huge lead in Dallas.
The Casing – .5 Unit Same Game Parlay
The snap of the casing is the cherry on top to a good boudin, similar to how a nice parlay is the cherry on top to a beautiful fall Saturday.
- UCLA +11.5 & UCLA vs Oregon Over 58.5 (+254)
- I think this will be a high scoring game and think it will be because Oregon gets desperate while playing from behind.
The Mustard – 1 Unit LSU Game Pick
A bright and tangy LSU Gold colored mustard is the perfect condiment for any boudin link.
- LSU vs Kentucky Over 51.5
- I expect LSU to win and cover the 8.5, I just like the Over as a more conservative pick.
