After 2 straight road games and a bye week, the Deacs are finally back at home for the first time this month to take on the SMU Mustangs. The Mustangs are currently in the midst of a 20-game conference win streak, dating back to their time in the AAC, so beating them today would be big for a Wake Forest team that is still seeking a signature win. Unfortunately, the Deacs also have a conference streak going—Wake has not won an ACC game at home in over 2 years (beat Pitt on 10/21/23). Streaks were made to be broken, so hopefully the Deacs can end 2 today.
