As the New England Patriots headed back to practice, four absences became five.
Fullback Reggie Gilliam joined the list of non-participants during Thursday’s work on the Las Vegas Raiders after being limited with ankle and knee injuries to begin the week. Alongside the March signing, wide receiver Mack Hollins and cornerbacks Christian Gonzalez, Carlton Davis III and Karon Prunty all remained sidelined in Foxborough.
Here’s the second injury report ahead of Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
DID NOT PARTICIPATE
Patriots
- FB Reggie Gilliam (ankle, knee)
- WR Mack Hollins (calf)
- CB Christian Gonzalez (shoulder)
- CB Carlton Davis III (neck)
- CB Karon Prunty (hamstring)
Raiders
- WR Jalen Nailor (concussion)
Gilliam has played 58 snaps on offense and 39 snaps on special teams since arriving at Gillette Stadium on a three-year deal. The former Buffalo Bills fullback, who was dealing with a knee injury heading into last weekend, suffered an ankle injury in the first half. Announced as questionable, he returned as a lead blocker on a touchdown run. Out wide at Highmark Stadium, Hollins did not. The 33-year-old receiver, ranking atop the passing game in targets, catches and yards, a sustained a non-contact calf injury following intermission and hopped to the sideline on one foot.
And then there’s the cornerback room’s Rolodex. Gonzalez had been ruled out due to a shoulder injury prior to the trip to Orchard Park and has now missed five consecutive practices. The extended All-Pro’s absence lingers with company. Back-to-back sidelined sessions have been logged by Davis due to a neck injury and Prunty due to a hamstring injury. While the veteran starter stayed in for all 59 defensive downs in the 29-26 AFC East upset, the No. 171 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft handled 18 downs in the kicking game.

With Gilliam missing on Thursday, eight members of New England’s active roster went forward as limited participants. That would include the starting running back he helped send from the goal line to the end zone last weekend. Stevenson later limped off with a knee injury on the final drive of the divisional meeting. His outing brought 47 rushing yards, 27 receiving yards, a touchdown and a two-point conversion. He has been present for consecutive practices since then.
The Patriots’ partial group continues to include two who did not take the field versus Buffalo. At defensive tackle, Barmore missed three practices in the lead-up due to a shoulder injury before being scratched. And at cornerback, an undrafted rookie in Canada had been downgraded on the eve of the 1 p.m. ET kickoff due to a hamstring injury. Woods and Woodson, who combined for five tackles and an interception last Sunday, are also managing ailments in the shorthanded secondary.
FULL PARTICIPATION

- S Brenden Schooler (back — NFI return)
Raiders

The Patriots quarterback also rushed for a team-high and season-high 54 yards on the way to being named AFC Offensive Player of the Week
The Patriots stand with one open spot on the 53-man roster. And with the organization’s 2025 special teams captain set to head back to it after having his 21-day practice window open in September. Schooler has since gone from a limited participant to a full participant while on the non-football injury list.
