Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Jets fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
The Jets own the second overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. This isn’t your typical class, however. There isn’t a quarterback who appears worthy of the number two overall pick. The team could potentially pick an edge rusher, but neither Arvell Reese nor David Bailey has the typical profile
of a pass rusher who goes second overall.
This would seem like a situation that calls for the Jets trading down. But that will be difficult. If the Jets want to trade down because this year’s Draft class is weak, it might be tough to find a trading partner. The team might have to take a return that is lower than market value.
This week on SB Nation Reacts, we want your take. Would you prefer the Jets to pick the best player at 2, or do you want to see them trade down?
Vote in our survey below, and we will bring you the results in a few days.
