The final ESPN-era Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fight card has officially taken a hit.
Featherweights Melsik Baghdasaryan and Joanderson Brito will no longer throw down at UFC Vegas 112
this weekend (Sat., Dec. 13, 2025) after Baghdasaryan withdrew from the bout. No reason has been given for his withdrawal, and it’s still unclear whether Brito will remain on the card. Ag.Fight was first to report the news. For what it’s worth, this isn’t the first time these two were booked. They were slated
to meet back in 2022, and Baghdasaryan pulled out of that matchup as well.
Baghdasaryan (8-3) has had a rough run in the promotion so far. Six of his scheduled fights have been canceled — with four withdrawals coming from his side — leaving the 33-year-old with just five Octagon appearances in five years. “The Gun” enters this latest setback coming off a first-round knockout loss to Jean Silva at UFC Seattle (watch highlights), and he’s currently 3-2 inside the cage.
Brito (17-5-1) heads into fight week riding the first losing streak of his career. He got dominated by Pat Sabatini in his most recent outing, dropping a unanimous decision, and before that suffered a surprising split decision defeat to William Gomis as a heavy -340 favorite. “Tubarao” is 5-3 in UFC, with all five of those victories coming by finish (like this).
