Everton are in the third year of their contract with English sportswear firm Castore as the Blues get ready for the second season at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Today the Blues announced the release of their away kit for the upcoming season, having unveiled the home kit a week ago.
The kit had been leaked ahead of today’s announcement, with a billboard outside the Titanic hotel downtown accidentally uncovered on Sunday.
White
shirts look classy when well done, and with the navy and yellow trim this is a showstopper. Everton haven’t had a white away kit since the Europa League campaign in 2015-16, though the colours were replicated on the white third jerseys from 2021-22.
Everton’s slick new away look takes design inspiration from one of the first away shirts to feature the amber colour that has since become a regular feature of the Club’s change strips. Amber, alongside Everton’s iconic royal blue, appeared in hoop form across the chest of that late ’50s design, worn by Everton Giants including Bobby Collins, Dave Hickson, Brian Labone and Roy Vernon.
The new kit will be worn for the first time Saturday afternoon when Everton take on Dundee in their first match of their pre-season.
Castore have done some good work with the goalkeeper kit too.
The modern interpretation features vertical amber and royal blue pinstripes on the shirt, with plain white sleeves and an amber and royal blue V-neck collar and sleeve trim. The amber colour – since given the name trinity amber – also appears on the collar and sleeves on this season’s Everton home shirt, released earlier this month.
The 2026/27 away shirt is accompanied by royal blue shorts styled with a flat-finish waistband and concealed draw cords. The Everton crest appears on the right thigh, opposite the signature Castore wings. White socks with royal blue and trinity amber hoops sport ‘EFC’ lettering on the shin, with Castore wings on the calf completing the look.
The kit will be available in long sleeve versions in both Pro and Replica, with a limited stock of sponsor-free shirts, both in Pro and non-textured Replica kits, available in men’s sizes and outfield shirts only. Alternative blue shorts and white socks are available in men’s and youth sizes, in Replica version only.
The kit is available to order on the Everton website and Everton One and Two stores now.
