TNA is on the road to Slammiversary for Sunday, June 28 in Boston, Massachusetts. Several bouts were added to the PPV, including a three-way ladder match with the Hardys, the Knockouts tag title bout, and more.
The updated card for TNA Slammiversary includes:
- TNA World Championship: Mike Santana (c) vs. Nic Nemeth
- Knockouts Championship: Lei Ying Lee (c) vs. Xia Brookside
- TNA World Tag Team Championship in a ladder match: The System (c) vs. The Hardys vs. The Righteous
- X-Division Championship in Ultimate X: Cedric Alexander (c) vs. Leon Slater vs. more to be announced
- Knockouts Tag Team Championship: Elegance Brand (c) vs. Rosemary & Allie
- Eric Young vs. Ricky Sosa
- Eddie Edwards vs. Moose
Every championship will be defended at Slammiversary. The only one not on the list yet is Mustafa Ali with the TNA International Championship.
Mike Santana retained the TNA world title over Eric Young on Impact. In the aftermath, Nemeth called
his shot to challenge Santana at Slammiversary. Daria Rae added a wrinkle. She arranged a trios match for next week. It will be Santana, Nemeth, and KC Navarro against Order 4. If Santana or Nemeth lay hands on each other, then the perpetrator will be stripped of his spot and Mustafa Ali will be the replacement.
One reason why Young lost his title match to Santana was a surprise appearance from Ricky Sosa. Young repaid that insolence with a beatdown backstage. Young and Sosa will get it on at Slammiversary.
After beating the Hardys in the Wicked Garden match, the Righteous have eyes on tag team gold. Santino Marella informed them that the Hardys still have a contractual rematch against the System. Thus, the tag title bout will be a three-way ladder match.
The Elegance Brand dropped a trios match to Rosemary, Allie, and Mara Sade. Even though Ash was the one that was pinned, that must have been enough to grant the tag title bout.
Moose returned from a sneaky beatdown a few weeks back. He wants to end this feud with Eddie Edwards.
