WWE’s mysterious footwear teasers are reportedly leading to [SPOILER]

Over the past 24 hours, WWE has tantalized the online wrestling world with brief teaser videos that show men in expensive shoes walking what looks like an arena or stadium entrance.

The immediate assumption

was the return or debut of a big name, and fans and pundits have offered guesses and debated which would be the coolest, least welcome, or most ironically hilarious. Is it Chris Jericho coming back for a Hall of Fame-run? Gunther rejoining the main event scene? Brock Lesnar’s arrival for Survivor Series? A re-signed luchador like Santos Escobar, or Andade? Is it finally full-Homelander Cody Rhodes?!?!?!

According to both PW Insider’s Mike Johnson (behind their Elite paywall) and WrestleVotes, the teasers are leading up the reveal of a promotional video for WrestleMania 42, aka the second straight super-expensive one in Las Vegas, aka the one before the one they sold to Saudi Arabia.
