Shane Kluivert has reportedly been told he is part of Hansi Flick’s pre-season plans ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The 18-year-old – son of Patrick – will be part of the club’s training camp in England and will have the chance to impress Flick, according to De Telegraaf.
Barcelona are due back on July 13th and will head to England for a training camp at St George’s Park along with a couple of friendlies. There’s also talk of a potential match in Argentina against River Plate.
Kluivert played 22 times
for Barcelona Atletic last season and signed a new contract back in April that is designed to keep him at the club until 2028.
Flick is likely to be without several first teamers for the start of pre-season, meaning Kluivert will be one of several young players offered a great opportunity to show what they can do.
Ebrima Tunkara, Oscar Gistau and Hamza Abdelkarim are some of the other young talents expected to be part of the early pre-season set-up.
