The Los Angeles Rams first made sweeping uniform changes in 2020, opting to use a new color palette of royal and sol to fit the Los Angeles culture. The color scheme was widely accepted but parts of the Rams uniforms still left fans “hoping for more”. In 2021, the Rams added their first alternate, modernizing the 1990s white throwback. That jersey would become the jersey the Rams won Super Bowl LVI in against the Cincinnati Bengals at SoFi Stadium.
Last year, the Rams introduced their rivalries “Midnight
Mode” jersey.
Earlier this offseason, the Rams adjusted their modern white and royal blue uniforms; ditching certain features like the gradient look and chest tag. The team also added a horn on the sleeve and a white pants set.
And finally last night, the Rams completed their look with two more alternate uniforms – an all white and blue, known as “Fearsome White” to honor the 1960s Fearsome Foursome. The other alternate added was “Classic Sol”, a modern throwback to the 1950s championship team.
Now threaded with 5 uniform sets for the 2026 season, fans will get to see their team in a variety of different looks. But my question to fans is this: which Rams set is the best uniform?
My Rankings
1. Modern White
The Rams main road uniform is as clean as they come. The team nailed its initial look and the adjustments this offseason continue to make it the most appealing uniform compared to the rest. It’s hard not to look at those uniforms and not see or relive Matthew Stafford’s no look pass to Cooper Kupp in Super Bowl LVI. Or Aaron Donald’s celebration after his game sealing play on 4th down.
2. Fearsome White
Fans had been begging for the Rams to bring this look into the fold. And its reception is nothing short of excellent. We’ll only get to see the uniform once in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers but I would not be surprised if that changes in 2027.
3. Royal Blue
The Rams main home uniform. I might have had this uniform lower if the team had not removed the gradient look for the jersey numbers and pants. But with the solid color for the numbers, this uniform is now a strong look as home uniforms go.
4. Rivalries “Midnight Mode”
This uniform grew on me when the Rams debuted them against the Seattle Seahawks. The jury is still out on them with the midnight navy and the royal blue trying to coincide on the shoulders/sleeve.
5. Classic Sol
It’s hard to pull off a yellow alternate. The Rams kept it simple by designing the uniform to be a modern version of the 1950s team uniform. I’m still undecided on its look but the others are definitely better.
