The Belleville, Michigan native flipped late in the 2025 recruiting cycle from Pitt to Michigan and signed as the same signing ceremony as his high school teammate, Bryce Underwood.
In 12 games a first-year player in Ann Arbor, Dotson compiled 11 tackles, two pass deflections and one interception.
