The Seattle Seahawks are exactly one week away from their season opener against the New England Patriots. There wasn’t a ton of roster turnover from last year to this year for the Super Bowl champions, but nevertheless we still want to see what the depth chart looks like after a few key names departed in free agency.
Without further grandstanding—honestly, I wrote two sentences in the first paragraph, I think I’m getting to this very quickly—here is the Seahawks’ first unofficial depth chart for the 2026
regular season!

Again, we stress that this is an unofficial depth chart, but the starting lineup for offense and defense looks accurate. There might be some hair-splitting as far as George Holani being listed as RB1 when the expectation is he’ll be sharing carries with Jadarian Price and Emanuel Wilson, but that’s about it on offense. Zach Charbonnet, of course, is not on the depth chart while he awaits his return from the PUP list. Elijah Arroyo is the TE3, but even that could come with the caveat that Seattle’s heavy use of 12 and 13 personnel will see him on the field fairly regularly throughout the season.
Bryce Cabeldue played much of camp and preseason as a left guard, so he gets the nod as the backup to Grey Zabel at left guard. Christian Haynes remains the backup right guard to Anthony Bradford, while rookie Beau Stephens is the reserve guard at both positions. Josh Jones is the only backup tackle for either Abe Lucas or Charles Cross.
On defense, Derick Hall is not listed as a starter but he functionally is. He was listed as the backup to DeMarcus Lawrence as a “Rush” end last season, so nothing has changed.
Meanwhile, Nick Emmanwori is apparently the backup safety for both Ty Okada and Julian Love, but he’s far from a traditional defensive back. It does underscore the point that Seattle’s safety depth on the 53-man roster is scarce.
I’m sure Rashid Shaheed and Tory Horton being the primary returners again could create some unease, but keep in mind that George Holani and Montorie Foster are also kick return options.
