What is the story about?
LSU Baseball has picked up another key player, as Landon Hood, the right-handed pitcher from Gonzaga, has committed to the Tigers.
The Goodyear, AZ native appeared in 16 games with 4 starts, pitching 78
strikeouts in 54.1 innings for a 2.48 ERA. Last month, Hood was named the West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year.
Hood is a key addition to LSU and Jay Johnson’s pitching roster after losing Jaden Noot, Mavrick Rizy and DJ Primeaux to the transfer portal and missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2011.
