The United States Department of Justice (DOJ) released millions of documents in the Jeffrey Epstein case, with numerous names of celebrities, business magnates, and high-ranking government officials contained within the report.
Within those files released by the US DOJ, Bayern Munich legend Franck Ribéry was referenced. The relevant document can be found at this link, with the player’s name first appearing on page 26.
It should be noted that within the files, many of the names mentioned have not been
accused of wrongdoing or charged with any crimes connected to Epstein, a financer and convicted sex offender. The release included over 2,000 videos and 180,000 images.

The following is an excerpt of what was mentioned in the document:
In [redacted] around the [redacted], Franck Ribéry tried to beat me when I was in my garden and had obtained my number and my address, policemen from [redacted] encircled him and brought him back to his car.
I am surprised to have seen the arrival of the prostitution circuit in [redacted], from my [redacted] years for I had finally freed myself from my predator of progenitor and had at last found my mother, after years of separation. Now I had the impression that an arm of prostitution came back to fetch me as if I had to belong to them.
Also on page 26:
I recall that Sylvain Cormier is the lawyer of Karim Benzema, former international.
On page 28:
Around January, February 2002, Sylvain Cormier was hired [redacted] in his capacity as trainee lawyer. His face was telling me something but I couldn’t put it back, a few years before, he had beaten his ex companion before me in a place of entertainment and I had advised her to file a complaint, and then he arrived with Franck Ribéry and the Judicial Police of Versailles arrived because he asked for 14-year-old girls to be brought to him.
On page 30:
I saw approaching me after my majority around [redacted] and subsequent years, such as Franck Ribéry, his membership in the world of prostitution is not more to prove, through his sbine sylvain Cormier criminal lawyer in Lyon [redacted], I was beaten by the latter, he said “it’s Franck asking me to do this!”
At this stage, the report is not considered to be an indictment or an acknowledgement of any wrong doing by those referenced within the files. What happens with all of this detail remains to be seen.
In an unrelated event in 2010, Ribéry was among four players (including fellow national team member Karim Benzema) to be indicted for solicitation of an underage prostitute. In 2014, French courts dropped the charges against Ribéry and Benzema.
