Michigan fullback/tight end Max Bredeson exited Michigan’s 45-20 win over Maryland with a lower-body injury. Bredeson was spotted on the sideline with crutches and a boot on his foot.
“We’ll get confirmation when we get back home and get the X-rays,” Moore said. “But, we’ll see what it is. Doesn’t look great. We’re just praying for him.”
Bredeson is a key catalyst as a run and pass blocker in Michigan’s offense, and it would be a blow to the Wolverines if he isn’t able to suit up against No. 1 Ohio State (11-0) next week. Michigan Insider’s Alejandro Zuniga reported seeing Bredeson “flashing thumbs up to the Michigan crowd”.
We’ll see if Bredeson gets the thumbs up to play next week, but the best we can go off of right now is Moore saying it doesn’t look great.
