The United States Men’s National Team are back. It’s the first match of the September-October double window for the USMNT, and they begin down in Orlando by playing Peru. For fans, it’s the first time that the national team has hit the field since they exited the 2026 World Cup on home soil.
It’s a new cycle, and the roster is full of youth. And, Mauricio Pochettino is using this opportunity to play a lot of them beginning with this match. Could we see Cavan Sullivan or Julian Hall? Will Neil Pierre
get the start at centerback? Will Xavier Gozo be one of the guys in the middle? It will be interesting to see what the lineup looks like, and most importantly, how the team plays on the field against a decent Peru team that won’t make it easy for them.
