Barcelona eased to a 3-0 win over Getafe on Sunday night thanks to two goals from Ferran Torres and a Dani Olmo strike.
It was a good night for Hansi Flick’s side at the Estadi Johan Cruyff, although the match ended on a bit of a sad note as Fermin Lopez appeared to pick up an injury.
Lopez received treatment right at the end of the game and appeared fairly emotional as he finally made his way off the pitch.
Flick was asked about the youngster after the game and said he’s unsure if he’s picked up a serious
problem.
“We’ll have to see what Fermín does tomorrow. We’ll have to wait,” he said.
“It’s very important to have all the players in that condition because we have a lot of matches. Rashford, Ferran… it’s important that everyone is well.”
Lopez was spotted limping after the game but we’ll have to wait and see what happens next.
Barcelona have a busy week with games against Real Oviedo and Real Sociedad to come in La Liga before a crunch tie with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Lopez has been in great form at the start of the season, although Dani Olmo also did a good job on Sunday after coming into the team and bagging a goal and an assist.
