No. 2 Indiana (11-0, 8-0 Big Ten) is set to take on Purdue (2-9, 0-8 Big Ten) on Saturday at Memorial Stadium in Bloomington, Indiana.
The Hoosiers, sitting at No. 2 in the latest College Football Playoff
rankings, remain undefeated on the season after a resounding 31-7 home win over Wisconsin and a bye week that’s allowed multiple players to get a bit healthier ahead of this game and the postseason
The Boilers, in year one under new coach Barry Odom, have struggled all season. This is a team that’s completed in plenty of games but just kept finding ways to lose. There’s still plenty of time for Odom and co to build something in West Lafayette, but we’re coming up on the two year anniversary of the Boilers’ last power five win.

Fast Facts
- Indiana won the previous matchup, in Bloomington, 66-0.
- DID YOU KNOW: Purdue alumnus, Neil Armstrong, became the first man to walk on the moon in 1969?
- Purdue has one 10-win season in program history, back in 1979. Indiana is still searching for that elusive 10-win run.
Predictions
Purdue, as its record shows, is not a good football team. The Boilermakers struggle in most facets on the gridiron BUT they’re definitely better at the sport than the group that headed down to Bloomington last season and lost in historic fashion.
They’ll probably pull some tricks out of their bag to get some points on the board and are gonna play hard. Indiana’s gonna have to go out and take it. Fernando Mendoza should be able to find Elijah Sarratt, Omar Cooper and Charlie Becker pretty consistently and, if things get weird, the run game has proven strong.
