Wasting your time since 2015.
86-64. The playoffs are coming.
Good news on the broadcast about Miguel Amaya, who is going to get some at-bats even though he isn’t yet 100 percent. We hope he discovers his groove fast and makes roster decisions tough.
Jameson Taillon vs. Braxton Ashcraft was on the menu in Pittsburgh. A wild pitch [VIDEO] and a Michael Busch solo homer (28) [VIDEO] put the Cubs on the board early, and a Dansby Swanson double [VIDEO] scored PCA, who had doubled and stolen third.
Former
Pirate Taillon kept throwing zeroes. PCA unloaded (29) [VIDEO]. It’d be nice if he has ironed out his issues. Pittsburgh-area native Ian Happ will have to wait to inflict his usual damage in his old stomping grounds. He didn’t figure in Monday’s scoring.
The bullpen followed Taillon’s lead and maintained that margin despite some pretty bad calls by the blue. Porter Hodge had some trouble — though most of it was self-induced. Brad Keller had to come in for the final out.
