Barcelona boss Hansi Flick is reportedly hoping his club can sign Karim Adeyemi quickly and have the winger available for the start of pre-season on Monday.
The Catalans have caused a stir by making a bid for the Borussia Dortmund forward who is said to be eager to make the switch to Camp Nou.
According to Gerard Romero, Flick “hopes that Adeyemi will be with the group on Monday at the start of the Blaugrana preseason.”
Barcelona are due back next week to start pre-season, altough Flick will be without
a host of big names as many of his players are still at World Cup 2026 or on holiday after their involvement in the tournament.
Adeyemi has reportedly already agreed terms with Barcelona and the Catalans now just need to agree a price with Dortmund for the winger.
Flick and Adeyemi have worked together previously. The German coached Adeyemi during his stint in charge of the national team and seems to be eager to be reunited with the 24-year-old at Barcelona.
