Maryland track & field’s Tolu Akinduro is set to take part in the NCAA Championships on March 14 after a stellar showing in the Big Ten Indoor Track and Field Championships.
Akinduro shattered a 24-year old program record in the triple jump with a mark of 13.36 meters — it was good for second in the event. She also secured second team All-Big Ten honors.
The NCAA Championships are set to stream live on ESPN.
