For the first time in nearly two months, the UConn men’s basketball team came in at No. 3 in the AP Poll. Also, for the first time in 2026, UConn isn’t the only Big East school ranked in the poll. Seton

The Huskies have three wins this season against teams currently ranked in the poll in No. 11 BYU, No. 13 Illinois, and No. 19 Florida. The Gators returned to the poll after a one week absence, while Kansas fell out of the rankings after losing at West Virginia on Saturday.
The Huskies return to action this week on Tuesday, as UConn travels to Newark for the aforementioned clash with No. 25 Seton Hall. The Huskies look to snap a four game losing streak at the Prudential Center. Then, the Huskies travel to the nation’s capital on Saturday for a clash with Georgetown.
