UFC 327 goes down Saturday night from Miami with Jiri Prochazka battling Carlos Ulberg for the vacant light heavyweight title in the main event and the broadcast team for the card is now set.
It’s the usual three-man team on commentary for major events with Jon Anik handling play-by-play duties and he’s joined by Joe Rogan and UFC Hall of Famer Daniel Cormier. UFC officials confirmed the broadcast plans to MMA Fighting on Monday.
Outside of international cards or occasional conflicts with scheduling,
Rogan is always in the booth for the UFC numbered events alongside Anik and Cormier.
In addition to the trio calling the fights, Brendan Fitzgerald handles hosting duties at the desk and he’ll be joined by former UFC champions Chris Weidman and Dominick Cruz providing analysis with Laura Sanko also joining the team.
Din Thomas provides coaching advice during the UFC 327 broadcast with Megan Olivi serving as the roving reporter inside the arena.
Prior to the event on Saturday, Dan Hellie is set to host the UFC 327 weigh-in show on Friday and he’ll be joined by Weidman and Sanko providing analysis.
UFC 327 underwent a change this past weekend after Joshua Van was knocked out of his first title defense against Tatsuro Taira with the fight being rescheduled for UFC 328 in May instead.
With Van vs. Taira off, Paulo Costa now moves into the co-main event slot as he transitions to light heavyweight where he faces undefeated contender Azamat Murzakanov.
UFC 327 starts with the prelims at 5:30 p.m. ET on Saturday with the main card kicking off at 9 p.m. ET with the entire card airing live on Paramount+.
