In our comments on the Cleveland Boston game last night, we forgot to mention one of our favorite members of the Brotherhood, Wendell Moore.
We love that he struggled for a while at Duke but overcame it
and became a tremendous team leader. That was wonderful to watch. If you remember, he had a terrible shooting slump that really affected his confidence. You could see relief on his face when he finally hit a shot and after that, he just took off. His growth was really impressive.
He was drafted by Minnesota and has spent time with Detroit and his hometown Charlotte Hornets. Currently, he’s trying to catch on with the Boston Celtics.
Plays like this are going to help his cause.
Moore got the ball on a break and had an absolutely vicious dunk over former Miami Hurricanes Norchad Omier. It was a powerful dunk and quite a statement as you can tell by the reactions of his teammates.
Dunks only count two points but impressions count too. And Moore certainly made one on this play.
