Fabio Wardley secured one of the biggest wins of his boxing career earlier today (Sat., Oct. 25, 2025) by stopping Joseph Parker via technical knockout (TKO) in the eleventh round of their WBO interim
Heavyweight title fight inside the O2 Arena in London, England.
For much of the fight, it was Parker who was landing the bigger shots and more volume, though Wardley wasn’t backing down one bit. Wardley did find success with his shots to the body, but Parker was utilizing his jab all night, peppering his foe with precision.
In round eleven, however, Wardley landed a huge right hand that rocked Parker, sending him backpedaling to the ropes. From there, Wardley put his foot on the gas pedal and tagged Parker with one big shot after another until the referee stepped in to put an end to the action.
That said, some feel the stoppage was a bit early. Take a look at some of the replays below and give us your thoughts.
That is now two straight come-from-behind knockout wins for Wardley, who proved once more that it’s never over until the final bell sounds. With the victory Wardley improves to 20-0-1, becomes the new interim WBO Heavyweight champion and locks down a huge title fight against undisputed king, Oleksandr Usyk, sometime in 2026.
It’s a tough blow for Parker, who was in line to get the Usyk fight before “The Cat” had to be sidelined due to injury. Instead of waiting for him to get healthy, Parker opted to take the Wardley fight in order to stay busy, though the gamble didn’t work out in his favor.
