Good morning, it’s the final day of 2025. The Cleveland Cavaliers are 18-16 and play the Phoenix Suns at 3 PM.
This is the first time this season that the Cavs are playing the Suns. They play again at the end
of January in Phoenix. Last season, the Cavs went 1-1 against Phoenix.
Today’s Game of the Day
- New York Knicks vs San Antonio Spurs – 8 PM, NBC, NBA League Pass
I realize that I keep picking Spurs games. Can you blame me?
Victor Wembanyama is must-see TV. And even though the Cavs (and Utah Jazz) recently got the best of them, this Spurs team has been climbing the ranks recently. Their length and athleticism make them the type of team that competes for titles in the modern NBA.
New York is a fun opponent for them. The Knicks have enough length to counter some of San Antonio’s, and Karl-Anthony Towns can challenge Wemby on the perimeter. This should be a good one.
