With the transfer window closing, it is time for one final fantasy transfer question.
If Bayern Munich could bring back any former player who is still active, who would you choose?
There are some fascinating options. Robert Lewandowski would give Bayern Munich another elite goalscorer, while Kingsley Coman could bring back his pace and Champions League experience on the wing (and a sense of danger to those fans seated 20 rows behind the goal).
Benjamin Pavard would offer versatility and defensive experience,
while Matthijs de Ligt could be an intriguing option at center-back. And after leaving Bayern Munich this summer, Leon Goretzka could even be brought back to strengthen the midfield (and torment RIPLT).
Maybe some would like to see the return of youngster Paul Wanner, who has gotten his career back on track. What about Ivan Perišić? Bringing him in seemed to work out well last time.
Some might also make a case for Leroy Sané, who knows the club and Bundesliga extremely well. What about players like Adam Aznou, Noussar Mazraoui, or…Fiete Arp? (Author’s Note: Hell yeah!)
