From his time working for Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Dortmund, PSV Eindhoven head coach Peter Bosz is well-acquainted with Bayern Munich.
Now, with his Champions League campaign in jeopardy, Bosz must guide his squad against the Bavarians. The manager knows it will not be easy.
“If you consider that they’ve already scored 72 goals in 19 matches, that’s much more than we have in the Eredivisie. That speaks volumes about their strength. They put you in one-on-one situations all over the pitch. And
of course, they have a tremendous amount of quality in their team. I know one thing for sure. If we win, we’re through, so we’re going for the win. If that doesn’t work out, we’ll try for a draw. And if that doesn’t work out, we’ll have to wait and see what happens in the other games. But you don’t want that,” Bosz said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Make no mistake, PSV Eindhoven will approach this as a must win game. In his career, Bosz has two wins and five losses vs. Bayern Munich per Transfermarkt.
Gear up Bayern Munich fans, this could be a battle.
