Thursday afternoon, former Bengals defensive end Trey Hendrickson took to the media, letting the world know he has forgiven the Bengals front office regarding his contract situation.
As soon as this hit his social media, Bengals fans and media immediately took to Twitter with their boisterous feelings about the situation…I’ll leave it at that.
Many fans didn’t realize the team was in need of forgiveness.
Meanwhile, several Bengals players, including Tee Higgins, were asked about the situation after practice, and they responded with the traditional, professional, respectful answer.
Right, wrong, or indifferent, Tee is a professional with (I’m sure) the utmost respect for his former teammate and is ready to compete against him, along with Ja’Marr and Joe.
It may be a bit different facing Trey on Joe’s end versus Ja’Marr and Tee, but it sounds like he’s looking forward to it.
Between the AFC North race and the Hendrickson comment, this is ramping up to be one of the bigger games of the year. With it looking like Lamar Jackson will play, we will see if the Bengals can come out on top against one of the best AFC teams, as well as their former teammate.
