This can be about Bayern Munich, another club, a specific player, the Bundesliga, the Champions League, or football in general. The more outrageous, the better. We want the predictions that sound completely ridiculous in August but might have everyone looking back in May and asking how you saw it coming.
For Bayern Munich, maybe your wild prediction is that the team
wins all three major competitions and completes a domestic and European treble. Maybe Harry Kane scores 40-plus goals in all competitions. Maybe a youngster such as Lennart Karl becomes an unexpectedly important first-team player and forces his way into the starting XI. Or perhaps Luis Díaz evolves into Bayern Munich’s most important attacking player.
You could go even further.
Maybe Bayern Munich goes unbeaten in the Bundesliga. Maybe Michael Olise finishes the season as one of the top three Ballon d’Or candidates. Maybe a player nobody expects to become a regular suddenly turns into one of the biggest breakout stars in Europe.
And it does not have to involve Bayern Munich.
Will an unexpected club win its league? Will a young player become a global superstar? Will a major favorite completely collapse? Will an underdog make an improbable Champions League run?
This is the time of year when every prediction is still possible.
