Bayern Munich have received some encouraging injury news, with Aaron Danks providing updates on Aleksandar Pavlović and Michael Olise.
According to Danks (via @iMiaSanMia), Pavlović is dealing with a small issue, prompting the coaching and medical staff to take a cautious approach rather than risk aggravating it. With an important stretch of fixtures ahead, there is little reason to push the midfielder unnecessarily, particularly if giving him additional recovery time can prevent a more significant
problem.
The news surrounding Olise is even more encouraging, as he is in the starting XI versus Atlético Madrid. Danks confirmed that the Frenchman has no structural injury and is ready to play. His recent discomfort was simply a matter of pain management rather than an underlying physical issue.
That should come as a significant relief for Bayern Munich, considering Olise’s importance to the attack. Losing him for an extended period would have been a major blow and another significant hit for an already depleted roster to take.
