What is the story about?

According to Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post, the Denver Broncos have waived offensive tackle Xavier Truss. The 2025 undrafted free agent out of Georgia joined the Broncos and competed throughout training camp.
At 6-7, 309 pounds, Truss certainly has the size to play in the NFL. However, as an undrafted guy — especially at an offensive line position — he is likely
going to be a solid candidate for the practice squad. Denver reportedly had him play inside at the guard position, but that could be a long-term vision they have for him in with the team. Truss also had one of the higher bonuses and guarantees of the players they added to their 15-man undrafted class.
