The Missouri Tigers have to win out their final four games of the regular season in order to have any chance at the College Football Playoff.
First up? Undefeated and No. 3 Texas A&M on Saturday. A win
over the Aggies could change the complexion the rest of the way, but that’s easier said than done at this point.
On the outside looking in, Mizzou checked in at No. 22 in the first CFP rankings released on Tuesday night.
With upcoming games vs No. 3 Texas A&M and at No. 12 Oklahoma, the Tigers will certainly have their opportunity to move up the rankings.
Let’s take a look at some other bowl projections for Mizzou entering Week 11:
ESPN: Bonagura; Music City Bowl vs Nebraska. Schlabach; Duke’s Mayo Bowl vs Duke
CBS: Texas Bowl vs TCU
Sports Illustrated: Music City Bowl vs Minnesota
Saturday Down South: Gator Bowl vs Miami
USA Today: Liberty Bowl vs Cincinnati
Athlon Sports: Texas Bowl vs TCU
College Football News: Liberty Bowl vs Cincinnati
College Football Network: Texas Bowl vs Houston
Palm Brackets: Duke’s Mayo Bowl vs Miami
Total count: Texas (3), Mayo (2), Music City (2), Liberty (2), Gator (1)
With the CFP almost out of reach, the Texas Bowl currently leads the way as a consolation prize for Missouri.
