LOS ANGELES — Expected weather in Cleveland has affected the start time of Thursday’s National League Championship Series Game 4 in Los Angeles. Dodgers vs. Brewers will now start one hour earlier, from 6 p.m. to 5 p.m. PT, as a result of the American League Championship Series Game 3 moving to earlier in the day.
Earlier on Wednesday, Major League Baseball announced that the forecast of inclement weather in Cleveland on Thursday night moved Game 3 of Guardians vs. Rays from 6 p.m. to 1 p.m. ET, a 10
a.m. PT start time. The original schedule had a three-hour window for TBS before the FS1 broadcast of Dodgers-Brewers. But with the ALCS on Thursday moving to earlier in the day, MLB decided to move Dodgers-Brewers into the preferred 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET time slot reserved for most nights.
Games 1, 3, (now) 4, 6, and 7 of the NLCS are slated for that 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET time slot, as are ALCS Games 1, 2, 5, and 7.
With the time change, Dodger Stadium parking lot gates on Thursday will open at 2 p.m., with stadium gates set to open at 2:30 p.m. for the 5 p.m. game.
Orel Hershiser and Mike Scioscia will throw the ceremonial first pitch prior to Game 4, with Kaleena Zanders performing the national anthem.
